So, Yi-hyeon 기자2017.05.11 14:09:21

As we go through the hectic school life, we can feel the night air is no longer cold, so the weather is perfect for a leisurely stroll. Let's visit two hot spots for night views created by artificial lights, yet as beautiful as a starry night sky. It would be unforgettable to watch the night scenery.

 Apsan Observatory

Address: 454, Apsansunhwan-ro, Nam-gu, Daegu-si

If you want to overlook Daegu at a glance, you are recommended to visit Apsan Observatory. Without the efforts of climbing a mountain, people can reach the top using the cable cars. The ticket for cable cars is priced at 9,500 won for one adult. The operating times fluctuate, so you should check them out. There is a convenience store near the upper stop of the cable car so that you can enjoy a simple bite. By following the signs for five minutes, people can easily find the observatory. There are no other things except for the night view at the observatory, but the night scene itself is so amazing that you will be fully satisfied. At the edges, love locks are hung on the fence so that visitors can leave a memory with their friends and lovers.

 Suseongmot Lake

Address: Cheongsu-ro, Suseong-gu, Daegu-si

Suseongmot Lake was created for agricultural water supply during the Japanese occupation. In the era of industrialization, it was transformed to a picnic spot for Daegu citizens. When you visit Suseongmot Lake to see the night view, there are a lot of things to be enjoyed along with it. First of all, you can take a walk along the Dulle-gil Trail surrounding the pond while looking at the beautiful scenery. Fountain shows are performed four times a day, and you can see a laser show with music twice per night. It is also a famous busking place, with many festivals such as Daegu International Jazz Festival in summer, and Suseongmot Festival in autumn. Moreover, you can enjoy amusement parks, handicraft workshops, and an ice rink in the nearby Suseoug Land.
